MPS Goes Green
Environmental sustainability is a commitment we must make as a district to improve the health of our students, maximize the use of our resources and act as a responsible community and global partner. In February 2009, the Board of Education passed a resolution expressing environmental sustainability as an official value of the district. Check this website often for information about our green accomplishments and to find resources to make your MPS school as GREEN as possible.

Green Programming - Learn about the many ways we are going green at the district such as: reducing bus emissions, using green cleaning products, encouraging biking and walking to school, using eco-friendly lunchroom packaging, and how we purchase recycled equipment and dispose equipment and large items.
